Back in the 1960s, car maker Ford decided that they wanted to beat the dominant Ferrari at the Le Mans 24-hour race. Ford v Ferrari is that story.

This is no dry documentary, however, with Matt Damon and Chrstian Bale starring as Ford’s two trump cards – car developer Carroll Shelby and British racing driver Ken Miles.

Directed by James Mangold (Logan), Ford v Ferrari also stars Caitriona Balfe, Jon Bernthal, Tracy Letts, Josh Lucas and, of course, Ford’s incredible GT40.

Ford v Ferrari – aka Le Mans ’66 in some territories – is set to zoom into Australian cinemas on November 14.
