While there have been two different TV incarnations of Stephen King’s first ever bestseller Salem’s Lot, it has never been given a movie adaptation – until now.
It’s the story of a writer who returns to his childhood home in Maine, only to discover that its citizens are transforming into vampires.
There’s some decent horror muscle behind this planned film, with It writer Gary Dauberman returning to the King fold. He also penned The Nun and the Annabelle films. Scare-master James Wan is on board as a producer, while New Line are the company behind it all.
