The wild ride that is Roland Emmerich’s latest disaster epic Moonfall hits home this week and, as you might well imagine, it’s a visual effects spectacular.

Two of the biggest Earth-set effects involve the creation of a tsunami, and the anti-gravity caused by the big star of the show – the moon – not being where it’s supposed to be.

The featurettes below take us into the process of creating both of these phenomena in the movie, with interview footage from crew and cast – the latter in particular including poor John Bradley, who received quite the dunking.

Moonfall releases on Blu-ray and DVD May 4. Pre-order now at JB Hi-Fi.
