Part of what made the original Star Wars movies so special was their use of practical effects. You could be forgiven for thinking that it’s all done with computers nowadays, but you’d be wrong.
It’s only mostly done with computers!
But seriously, The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson has tweeted a video showing a runthrough of the real world effect used when Luke cramped the style of Rey and Kylo playing kissy-Force. Here it is:
