A captivating new look into the upcoming fifth Predator movie, Prey, from 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg, has arrived.
It gives us our best look yet at the full-on battle between two expert hunters.
We’re talking a kind of origin story here, and here’s the official line: “Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, Prey is the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.”
Amber Midthunder (TV’s Legion) stars, alongside the likes of Dane DiLiegro, Stefany Mathias, Dakota Beavers and Stormee Kipp.
In a very inspiring move, the film’s dialogue has been recorded both in English and Comanche, so Prey will be available to watch in either language, with subtitles for those who need them.
Prey is set for an early August release. Here’s the latest trailer:
