There’s been talk of it for some time now, but it looks like a Borderlands movie is now set to become a reality.
It could be pretty cool, too, if the mooted director is any indication. According to Deadline, the bloke behind Cabin Fever and The House with a Clock in its Walls (we’ve chosen to ignore Knock Knock – except that we’ve now mentioned it, d’oh!), Eli Roth, is revved up and ready to direct the thing which will be based, of course, on the popular 2K video game franchise.
Craig Mazin is behind the latest draft of the script. He’s previously worked on a couple of entries in the Scary Movie franchise, a couple of The Hangover flicks and, in a change of pace, the award-winning Chernobyl miniseries.
Hmm, we wonder if they’ll be able to cel shade the actors?
