After more false starts than a clapped-out Aston Martin, the latest Bond flick, No Time to Die, is finally set to arrive in September.

The fifth and apparently final outing of Daniel Craig as Bond, James Bond, is now slated for a September 30 release in Australian cinemas.

The official synopsis goes a lot like this: “Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”

Joining Craig will be Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, Rory Kinnear, Ralph Fiennes, Lashana Lynch, Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen and David Dencik. Directing duties were handled by Cary Joji Fukunaga, with the script penned by he and Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Here’s a brief new spot with very little in the way of new footage, but it’s something:
