We’re in for two different stories in the upcoming tenth season of American Horror Story, which does rather explain the Double Feature subtitling.

Creator Ryan Murphy has promised a tale of sea and a tale of sand, and as a new look at season 10 – via the trailer down the page a little – is entitled Red Tide, we’re guessing that the former is first up.

Here’s the synopsis: “A struggling writer, his pregnant wife, and their daughter move to an isolated beach town for the winter. Once they’re settled in, the town’s true residents begin to make themselves known.”

Finn Wittrock, Lily Rabe, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Frances Conroy, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Billie Lourd, Angelica Ross, Leslie Grossman and Macaulay Culkin are all set to star.

Airing from August 25, here’s a look at American Horror Story: Double Feature Season 10, but if you’re squeamish you may prefer to watch this
