This is just getting silly now. Yes, the long-in-development Uncharted movie is set to begin searching for yet another director.
The latest directorial casualty is Bumblebee‘s Travis Knight, according to Deadline. It seems that Tom Holland, who’s set to star as a young Nathan Drake, is causing the issues due to his Spider-Man schedule.
Knight joins David O Russell, Neil Burger, Seth Gordon, Shawn Levy, Joe Carnahan and Dan Trachtenberg as people who were once set to call the shots on the Uncharted flick.
Apparently the film, based on the smash hit PlayStation series of games, is still a priority for Sony, so the planned Christmas 2020 release date will be pushed back once again.
Meanwhile, Mark Wahlberg was recently cast as Drake’s mentor/father figure Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan.
