Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón’s Roma, set in the early 1970s, has been hoovering up awards nominations – and has already nabbed a few. Here, he takes us for a tour of modern day Roma, Mexico.
We see several locations as they are now, and how they appeared in the movie. Once you get over the fact that the town isn’t actually in black and white, the effort that went into creating the world of the movie Roma becomes apparent. (For the silly-impaired, we’re kidding about thinking that the town would actually be black and white in real life.)
