Here’s your chance to get your shamble on zombie-style, and who knows? It may be the start of a career in movies.

Upcoming rom-zom-com Little Monsters will be shooting in Sydney soon, and needs a bunch of zombies – who’ll receive full credit in the flick’s, erm, credits – to do their thing in some scenes.

It’s no cheapie little production, either. The movie stars Lupita Nyong’o (Black Panther) and Josh Gad (Pixels, and the voice that every parent of a yougn girl knows, that of Olaf in Frozen), along with local talent Alexander England (Down Under – how local is that?!). Speaking of Down Under, its writer/director, Abe Forsythe is doing his directorial thing here with a script that he also penned.

As for the story, it follows a bloke named Dave (England) who volunteers to chaperone his nephew’s kindie class excursion after developing a crush on the teacher, Miss Caroline (Nyong’o). Naturally there’s a triangular situation, with the world’s most famous kids show personality, Teddy McGiggle (Gad), also vying for the affections of Miss Caroline. But when a zombie outbreak happens, by necessity they get distracted… Won’t somebody think of the children?!

Filming is set to begin this month in Sydney, so if you want a chance to get all zombie-like you just need to click here for more details on how to be in the running. Or, perhaps more accurately, the slow, ramshackle walking.

Meanwhile, here are some crib notes that you may find handy…
