The work of Lost and The Leftovers co-creator Damon Lindelof is set to return to our screens in the form of his take on the classic graphic novel world of Watchmen.
Below we have a peek behind the scenes, in which Lindelof and his associate Nicole Kassell join actors Regina King and Jeremy Irons in telling us a little more about what to expect from their project.
Set some 10 years after events of the comic, the eight-part Watchmen series aims to examine “how we as a society feel about heroes, most notably people who wear masks and fight crime”.
Joining King and Irons are the likes of Don Johnson, Jean Smart, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Hong Chau, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Dylan Schombing, Sara Vickers and James Wolk.
HBO’s Watchmen is set to air from late October.
