It’s been an on again/off again proposition for a while now, but it finally looks like a third Bad Boys outing will happen.
Known as Bad Boys for Life, Variety reports that the flick is close to receiving the Hollywood green light.
The plan is to reunite Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as Miami PD officers Lowrey and Burnett, some 16 years after Bad Boys II. Smith is apparently already on board for the project, with Lawrence said to be “circling”.
The Wedding Ringer screenwriter Chris Bremner has penned the script for the new flick, and hopes are that it will be hitting cinemas early in 2020.
In other Bad Boys news, the two crazy original Michael Bay outings – Bad Boys and Bad Boys II – are set to hit 4K Ultra HD in Australia on November 14.
