Potterverse fans have been excited at LEGO’s heading back to Hogwarts for a new range of sets, and now fans can actually head to Hogwarts themselves.
In a surprise announcement, LEGO have dropped news of their second biggest set ever (the largest being the recent Millennium Falcon release). Containing a whopping 6020 pieces, the Hogwarts set will need a big space to be displayed in, as it measures over 58cm high, 69cm wide and 43cm deep. Meh, who needs to use a dining table for eating at?
The set packs four standard minifigures, 27 “microfigures” and all sorts of Harry Potter magic from towers, turrets, chambers and classrooms to creatures, the Whomping Willow and Hagrid´s hut (complete with “buildable pumpkins”).
It’s out in a couple of weeks, so you’d better save quick – at around $650 in Australia it’s going to cost enough to clean out Gringotts.
