This is the sixth Mission: Impossible movie in 22 years, and Tom Cruise is still doing his own stunts.

That alone would be recommendation enough to check out Fallout, were it not for the fact that this is best installment in the franchise to date. We meet Ethan Hunt (played to perfection by action man Cruise) still in pursuit of the elusive Syndicate, but this time they need to be found within 72 hours. Three measures of plutonium have been stolen by a group calling themselves the Apostles, and Ethan – still backed by the trusty Benji (Simon Pegg) and Luther (Ving Rhames) – must do everything in his power to prevent the radioactive material from falling into the hands of the wrong people and being transformed into nuclear weapons. The stunts get more impossible with every film, and this entry is no exception to that rule. And if you can suspend your disbelief for some of the more outrageous sequences, you’re in for a treat. Mission Impossible – Fallout is one of the best action movies in recent memory, replete with the series’ staple plot twist and turns.
