The acclaimed TV drama Halt and Catch Fire has been renewed for a fourth and final season.

SundanceTV has confirmed that the show – which explores the early days of the computer business in the 80s – will bow out next year with a final 10-episode run. In a statement, creators Christopher Cantwell and Christopher Rogers said: “In this fourth and final season, we are excited to end the show on its own terms and to give our story, these characters, and our fans the conclusion they so richly deserve.”

Halt and Catch Fire stars Lee Pace, Scoot McNairy and Mackenzie Davis and charts the beginning of the PC era as entrepreneurs and innovators attempt to make their mark in a rapidly changing technological environment.
