Rosehaven, the new ABC comedy that reunites Utopia stars Celia Pacquola and Luke McGregor, will premiere on October 12.

The eight part series was written and created by its two leads, and was filmed entirely on location in Tasmania. McGregor plays Daniel McCallum, who returns to his rural Tasmanian hometown of Rosehaven to help his mother with her real estate business; Pacquola is his best friend Emma, who unexpectedly turns up on his doorstep on the run from her marriage.

“I am so thrilled and thankful that I get to make a TV show with one of my best friends,” Pacquola says. “ I mean, Luke and I really should have written more scenes with us holding puppies in Hawaii or making out with movie stars, but I guess we’ll try for season two.”

Co-stars include Kris McQuade (Wentworth), Anthony Morgan (Ronny Chieng: International Student), Katie Robertson (The Kettering Incident) and David Quirk (Please Like Me).
