A big new info drop on sci-fi shooter Outriders is with us, accompanied by a bunch of new gameplay footage.
A featurette entitled Journey and Structure feature, which runs just shy of ten minutes, gives us an in-depth look at the campaign, side-quests, companions and travel system in Outriders. It also reveals several new environments – and enemy types that we’ll be up against.
We’re promised a massive experience from Outriders, both in gameplay hours and in the vast world that’s been created for the new Square Enix IP. Take a look:
Meanwhile, the soundtrack for Outriders comes from award-winning composer Inon Zur, who has a CV that boasts creating music for everything from Crysis and Prince of Persia through to the Fallout series and beyond.
“As a composer it’s always extremely exciting to be involved in building new worlds and telling new stories,” says Zur, “So I’m thrilled to reveal that I have composed the score for People Can Fly and Square Enix’s epic sci-fi action game Outriders. It was a lot of fun blending heavy orchestral soundscapes and futuristic musical sound design for this rollercoaster sci-fi adventure and I can’t wait to share the music with you.”
