Not only is DOOM Eternal shaping up to be a backside-kicking shooter, it’s also set to have a soundtrack to match.
Composer Mick Gordon is returning to the DOOM universe, and he’s brought some friends along in the form of a heavy metal choir.
Labelled, not surprisingly, “the DOOM Eternal Heavy Metal Choir”, they’re an eclectic group of heavy metal vocalists who all share one thing – a love of DOOM. The people at develiopers id Software held an open casting call, and had some pretty cool names answer. These included Tony Campos (Ministry), Sven De Caluwe (Aborted) and Linzey Rae (The Anchor).
Just below you’ll find a peek behind the scenes at the DOOM Eternal Heavy Metal Choir in action.
DOOM Eternal launches for PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 20.
