A bombastic new trailer for the hotly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077, now expected to land in November, has arrived with a bang.

Actually, it contains several bangs, as well as a whole lot of cursing, as we get a further glimpse at life in Night City. We also experience the beginnings of protagonist V’s career as a mercenary.

The massive open-world, action-adventure RPG is now set to hit on November 19 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The PS4 game will be compatible with the PS5, and the Xbox One with Xbox Series X, with a free upgrade that will take full advantage of the next-gen hardware becoming available at a later date.

Here’s the exciting new trailer, for which we must add a LANGUAGE WARNING.

That’s not all in Cyberpunk news, either. An all-new, ten-episode anime experience entitled Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is heading to our screens.

A collaboration between CD Projekt Red and Japan’s Studio Trigger, it’ll be set in the same universe as Cyberpunk 2077, and will premiere in 2022.

“We are so excited to finally reveal that we are working on an anime in the Cyberpunk world,” said Adam Badowski, the game director on Cyberpunk 2077. “We’ve devoured just about all the cyberpunk fiction there is to watch, read, and play; it’s a genre that leaves so much room for creativity, and has had such a strong influence on us. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is our love letter to cyberpunk as a whole, and to stories told in animated form.”

Here’s the launch video, which gives a little more insight into the project:
