Amidst all the amazing new PS4-exclusive releases such as God of War and Detroit: Become Human, and with the forthcoming likes of The Last of Us Part 2 and Spider-Man, many have forgotten what looks to be a real gem – Dreams.

From British developers Media Molecule, who also gave us LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway, Dreams is set to continue the company’s “play, create, share” ethos.

You’ll take control of a customisable “imp”, to explore and conquer puzzle-filled imaginings, while creating new items and characters, and manipulating objects by grabbing and pulling them. Dreams’ dreams will even be able to be shared with co-op gameplay.

It’s difficult to do justice to the scope of Dreams in words, let alone the visuals. So, if you have 23 minutes and 48 seconds to spare, it’s really worth hunkering down and watching this exciting look at the game, featuring commentary from Media Molecule creative director Mark Healy.

Hopefully we’ll get more info – and be given a release date – at E3.
