As the real world F1 season continues, and Daniel Ricciardo’s Renault keeps breaking, the video game version – F1 2019 – is preparing to race.
We now have a teaser trailer for it, and we’re not entirely sure where real world vision and in-game vision meet, as it all looks pretty sensational.
As always, we’ll get all the official teams, drivers and circuits from the current season. New to the franchise, however, is a complete F2 competition, with players able to complete the 2018 season with the likes of George Russell, Lando Norris and Alexander Albon. The 2019 F2 season will follow later as free downloadable content.
F1 2019 – featuring Ricciardo on the cover here in Australia – launches for PS4 and Xbox One on June 28.
