When we first checked out the Nintendo Labo, one of our favourite “Toy-Con” devices was the piano, and we knew people would do great things with it. Like Game of Thrones composer Ramin Djawadi, who has recreated his much-loved theme on it.
While the cardboard keyboard only has one octave to play with at a time, you can use the Labo software as a sequencer to add layers. Djawadi’s composition here is a great example of this process.
The piano Toy-Con comes as part of the Nintendo Labo Variety Kit, which runs on Nintendo’s Switch handheld console. For more Nintendo Labo, check out our review of the Robot Kit here.
