Lucasfilm and social games developer Zynga are joining forces to bring us competitive arena combat game Star Wars: Hunters on Switch.
Due to drop later this year, the “free-to-download” affair promises new bounty hunters, rebel heroes and Imperials, all battling it out in “Star Wars-inspired locations”.
It’s set after the fall of the Galactic Empire, and will apparently connect players in real time.
“Star Wars: Hunters draws inspiration from classic Star Wars stories and settings, but with a look and feel that is different from anything we have done before,” said Douglas Reilly, the VP of Lucasfilm Games. “We’re thrilled to introduce this wildly creative cast of characters to our fans on Nintendo Switch, where they can join with their friends in thrilling battles at home or on the go.”
