Whether you’re one of the many who make a New Year’s resolution to get fitter, or you just like punching the air, Fitness Boxing on Nintendo’s Switch may be for you.
Packaged more as a fitness tracking package than a game, users get all the important stuff like a calendar, goal setting and progress charting.
However, Fitness Boxing is from Nintendo, so they couldn’t help but get some game stuff happening in there – to which we say, “Yay!”. There are a bunch of customisable trainers to choose from (that’s people, not shoes), and a range of unlockable clothing – because people, apparently, like unlockable clothing.
If you dig training with a friend you can (as long as you have a second pair of JoyCons), or if you just wish to have fun there’s a two-player Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots-styled ring biffo affair.
Fitness Boxing is out now on Switch, and there’s a free, three-day timed demo available now on the Nintendo eShop.
All together now, “Jab! Uppercut! Twist! Hook!”
