It’s November 10, which means it’s the day of the next generation Xbox Series X|S launch.

They’re designed to bring more power than ever to four generations of games, and having played with a Series X for a while, we know that it really delivers on the speed front.

To mark the release of the new consoles, which were first available at midnight to Kiwis and Aussies, Xbox staged a massive launch celebration, taking over New Zealand’s Queenstown to make it “Greenstown”. You can watch the whole shebang, complete with monolithic, UFO-like Xbox Series X console,  just below. We also get an intro message from Xbox head honcho Phil Spencer – g’day, mate!
