Wanting to plan your weekend ahead of time for the upcoming MEO? Here – please consult the official timetable.

There will be plenty to do at Melbourne Park this September 1 and 2 if you’re lucky enough to have a ticket to the Melbourne Esports Open. JB Hi-Fi have you covered on both days with their extravagant JB Hi-Fi Game On Zone, offering a bunch of first to play opportunities and some freeplay areas too. You’ll be able to get in there from 9am both days – that’s 2 hours before the OPL and Contenders finals kick off, so plenty to keep you busy. You’ll also be able to check out Quake Champions and 2K tournaments.

Under the JB Hi-Fi Game On Zone you’ll find the Garden Room, home to all your pre-registration for tournaments, as well as the Pokémon tournaments for the weekend – both VGC and TCG.

The ESL Tournament Zone will be your home of all other esports (apart from the main events), with the Fortnite comps, CS:GO qualifiers, Forza competitions, Minecraft and Rocket League tournaments, and all the fighting games happening over the two days under the one roof.

And of course, the big drawcards; the Overwatch Contenders Australia Season 2 Finals, and the League of Legends Oceanic Pro League Finals on the Saturday and Sunday respectively.

We’re in for a big weekend of gaming, ladies and gentlemen! Check out the full schedule below (click or tap on the timetable to get a closer look):
