The much-delayed new LEGO game, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, has a new release date, and that’s April 5.

The announcement comes accompanied by a new gameplay overview trailer, which you can watch just down this page a little.

It’s set to be a big game, with all nine movies in the Skywalker Saga having their own playable hubs, each featuring five levels each. So that’s a huge 45 levels in total – plus, there’ll be new Force and lightsaber combat moves. These are set to include the ability to string various attacks together in combo chains.

One of the more fun elements, revealed by the trailer is “mumble mode”. This will replace the voice acting with old school LEGO game mumbling.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is releasing for PS5, Xbox, Switch and PS4. Pre-order now at JB Hi-Fi.
