After a rather disappointing first look trailer a wee while back, we now have a decent peek into what’s in-store story-wise in Little Hope.
The next instalment in The Dark Pictures Anthology, following last year’s Man of Medan, is set in the town of Little Hope, which has quite the bewitching history…
Here’s the official line: “In Little Hope, abandoned and all alone, four college students and their professor are trapped by a mysterious fog in the isolated eponym town. They search desperately for a means of escape whilst visions from the town’s occult-steeped past haunt them from the shadows. In order to stay alive, they must uncover the mysteries behind these relentlessly-pursuing dark apparitions before evil forces drag each of their souls to hell!”
Once again we’ll be able to look forward to branched gameplay with multiple endings.
No specific date has been set beyond “summer 2020” – that’s northern hemisphere summer – so hopefully it’ll be with us in a few months’ time. You can pre-order on PS4 and Xbox One from JB Hi-Fi right now.
Here’s that trailer of which we spake:
