The Square Enix E3 2019 conference for 2019 has unleashed a decent look into the hugely-anticipated upcoming Marvel Avengers game.
While the main characters are familiar – Black Widow, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man and Thor – the faces are different to those that we’re used to from the MCU. But with legendary game names such as Nolan North and Troy Baker in there, we’re happy for the birth of the MGU.
Footage shown from the upcoming game by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos dropped us into ‘A-Day’, a San Franciscan celebration of all things Avengers. Well, it’s celebratory until something goes haywire with a new helicarrier, and all manner of havoc breaks loose, including the decimation of the Golden Gate Bridge. The Avengers are subsequently outlawed until, of course, years later when they’re needed to save the world.
Coming for PS4, Xbox One and PC, and with a promise of free character and location updates, Marvel Avengers has been dated for May 15, 2020.
OK, here goes with that trailer:
