In addition to the media showcase held this morning, Microsoft held an exclusive behind-closed-doors Xbox One X Experience.
Everyone now knows that Project Scorpio has earned its official name of Xbox One X. The most powerful home entertainment console ever – and the smallest Xbox ever made – the One X is a monster of a machine.
This morning, as a part of a media-only hands-on event, we had the chance to get up close and personal with the new member of the Xbox One family, in a theatre experience showcasing the full 4K capabilities.
The presentation was headed by lead devs on some of Xbox One’s flagship franchises, and we were treated to short clips for the new Super Duper Graphics pack for Minecraft, Forza Motorsport 7 looking amazing, Gears of War 4 with updated graphics and HDR for the new family member, as well as experiencing the wonders of Dolby Atmos sound.
While the $649 price point may seem daunting to some, those looking for true 4K gaming and in the market for an upgrade may consider the Xbox One X worth the upgrade come November 7.
