Overwatch‘s resident guardian angel Mercy is getting in the pink to help the Breast Cancer Research Foundation work toward a cure for breast cancer.
Available for purchase from today (May 9) until May 22, the Pink Mercy skin for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC not only allows you to get your Barbie on, but the proceeds are going to a really good cause – all 100 per cent of them.
The money will do everything from helping with new clinical trials to aiding in the creation of a large biobank of specimens for better risk prediction.
To coincide with the Pink Mercy skin launch, Blizzard is partnering with Overwatch content creators for a bunch of charity streams. ANZ streamers KidKerrigan and Rudeism will be broadcast on Twitch.tv, with all donations taken during the stream supporting the BCRF. There’s even something in it for the viewers beyond supporting such a worthy cause, as players who watch these streams will be rewarded with special Overwatch sprays and player icons.
Remember, it’s only for a limited time, so if you want to show your support you’d best get busy.
