Yep, you’ve played the console, now wear the shoe. The new PG-2 PlayStation Colorway Nikes are available now – check out this unboxing with NBA All-Star Paul George.

The shoes are pretty amazing, with lights and all manner of PlayStation-appropriate colours and design nods.

This vid sees Nike designer Tony Hardman catching up with Paul for an unboxing of the PG-2s – the first time he got to lay eyes on them.

“This collaboration has been a long time coming,” Paul told the PlayStation Blog. “Ask me what my favorite PlayStation memory is and I’ll tell you it’s when my dad got me a PS2 for Christmas. I’d been dropping hints left and right because I knew that was it. That was the next big thing. You could say the same with Nike. As a kid, I’d make sketches of what I wanted my Nike shoes to look like because it’s something I’ve always wanted to be a part of. Now I have the opportunity to make something very special and personal to me with the help of two of my favourite brands.”

We reckon these would be ace for any PlayStation collection – but we’d be too scared to wear them outside for fear of being rolled.

Anyway, have an unboxing vid…

JB Hi-Fi don’t sell shoes, but they do sell PlayStations.
