World of Warcraft Esports has just levelled up Down Under. 

The 2018 World of Warcraft competitive scene will see Australia play host to the APAC Regional Finals. Three Australian and New Zealand teams will face off against three Korean teams and two Taiwanese teams for their share in USD$50,000, with the winning team advancing to represent our region at Blizzcon in November.

This announcement is in addition to a couple of format changes. From May onwards, we will follow the North American cup format of four qualifying cups over two months, at the conclusion of which the three teams with the most points from AU/NZ will qualify for the APAC finals.

The first cup begins on the 11th of next month, and will be streamed live on Twitch for you to watch while you’re at work. If you want to be the one sitting behind the computer clicking the buttons, you can sign up for the four cups below:
