When Hideo Kojima makes a trailer, he puts his everything into it – much like his games. The latest trailer for Death Stranding: Director’s Cut on PS5 is no exception.

Clocking in at just under nine minutes, it’s quite the showcase for both the game and the PlayStation 5 itself.

More than just a prettied-up experience, we’re promised advanced combat, new locations, extra missions (including vehicle racing, because why not?) and minigames, an extended storyline and “much more”.

Good news for those who are already partway into the game is that PS4 saves will be transferable to PS5, although there will be a charge to upgrade to PS5 – but that will, of course, include a big bunch of extra content.

Death Stranding: Director’s Cut will be with us on September 24 – pre-order now at JB Hi-Fi. Meanwhile, here’s our original PS4 review.
