Good versus e-vil (thank you, Emperor Palpatine) has always been a thing in Star Wars. Actually, it’s probably THE thing, and it’s used to great effect in this fun little live action PlayStation promo.
It’s a little story about Jack and Dia- uh, no it isn’t. Well, unless the two kids here are actually named Jack and Diane, but we can’t confirm that at this point in time. Anyway, it is about two kids growing up in the heartland – or somewhere, at least – who have this kind of Star Wars-influenced rivalry thing going on… and on… and on… and on.
Seriously, how cool is that Death Star cubby house?
It ties in with the slightly controversial release of EA’s Star Wars Battlefront II, which has come under fire for locking away popular characters behind hours and hours of grinding in order to make them playable. Good news here is that the amount of in-game credits required to unlock the likes of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader has been lowered significantly due to the backlash storm that was unleashed.
Meanwhile, Star Wars Battlefront II has been announced as the fourth game in PlayStation Australia’s “Platinum Hunters” competition. Be the first to nab the platinum trophy in-game and you can score a real life replica shiny thing. You can find out more about it all here.
