PlayStation have dropped the first in a new video series entitled State of Play, giving us looks at some of what we’re in for in the near future on PS4. This one has a heavy PSVR presence.

Big new titles have been a little thin on the ground of late for PSVR, but if what’s on show here is any indication, those futuristic headsets will be getting a lot of attention this year.

Leading the charge is Marvel’s Iron Man VR, while the excellent-looking Guy Ritchie-esque Blood & Truth has finally been dated, for May 28.

No Man’s Sky has become quite a stunning game with continued improvements since release, and it’s set for another free update which will bring PSVR support to the table.

Other titles for PSVR – or with support for the peripheral – shown are Mini-Mech Mayhem, Jupiter & Mars, Falcon Age, Trover Saves the Universe, Everybody’s Golf VR, Table of Tales and Vacation Simulator.

We also get eyes on Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted, which is a combination of best-of levels with some new experiences thrown in, but in first-person. Eep!

Finally, Concrete Genie is a gorgeous-looking affair (well, except for the bully stuff) that appears to be a cross between an adventure game and Wii classic de Blob.

Back in the real world, we also get looks at cutesy competitive brawler ReadySet Heroes, a trip into Hal with Observation, more Mortal Kombat 11 character announces and a chunky new look at more of Days Gone.
