We got a tantalising glimpse of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 yesterday at the Xbox conference, however today Ubisoft revealed more at their own shindig.
Behold the exciting cinematic trailer above, but keep heading downwards for a triple shot of gameplay footage.
This sequel sees a move from New York City to Washington DC, which is facing its greatest threat yet, and it’s up to you and your team to put things right. This involves everything from skirting a defaced Washington Monument (stop tittering, Marge) to clambering about the wreckage of Air Force One.
Eight-player partnerships will now be a thing for Ubi’s popular shooter series, with raids added to the gameplay mix.
Three DLC “episodes” are promised for the first year of release, and they’ll all be free. We like free DLC!
While Ubisoft have declared that there’ll be rewards for those who’ve put the hours into the original game, players won’t be able to use their established character – and its earnings – in this new outing.
Beta sign-ups are now open for an unspecified future date – check out this link here.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is set to lob on March 15, 2019.
