Overwatch League team Washington Justice are to be the first in the league to play an international exhibition match, at the upcoming Melbourne Esports Open.
They’ll be joining the winners of Overwatch Contenders Australia 2019 Season 2 on the MEO’s second day, Sunday September 1.
As well as showing off their mad skills in an exhibition match, six world-class Overwatch League players from Washington Justice will be participating in signing sessions, as well as team meet and greets.
“The Justice is thrilled to have the opportunity to meet fans and play an exhibition match with the talented competitors in Australia. With the demands of our competitive schedule, it’s not often we get travel outside our region, so we’re looking forward to everything Melbourne and its local fans have in store,” said Aaron “PRE” Heckman, Washington Justice assistant general manager.
The Melbourne Esports Open will feature open tournaments in more than 15 titles for fans to compete in across Melbourne and Olympic Parks, with popular battle royale, trading card and fighting game tournaments confirmed so far. Get your tickets here.
Don’t forget to drop by the JB Hi-Fi Game On Zone at #MEO2019 for a bunch of big first-to-play games.
