There’s a real schism opening up between gamers who prefer small but perfectly formed gaming experiences, and those who want extended periods immersed in whatever world whichever game conjures. Dying Light 2: Stay Human is definitely for the latter type.
The latest sequel from Techland is due for release on February 4, and the developers are proudly declaring that it will take at least 500 hours to complete. See for yourself in this Tweet:
To fully complete Dying Light 2 Stay Human, you'll need at least 500 hours—almost as long as it would take to walk from Warsaw to Madrid!#DyingLight2 #stayhuman pic.twitter.com/Sk3KFpRJoA

It’s caused a bit of a freak out, so they followed up with the following:
UPDATE:
500 hours is related to maxing out the game – finishing all the quests, endings, and exploring every part of the world, but a regular player should finish the story + side quests and do quite a lot of exploring in less than 100 hours, so don't worry! 🥰 https://t.co/4R641zkLpg— Dying Light (@DyingLightGame) January 8, 2022
Either way, that’s a lot of time in the game’s world, which, heading back to our intro, will be nirvana for some, and hell for others.
