Some more details on WWE 2K22 were revealed during the weekend’s WWE’s SummerSlam 2021, with it now set to arrive in March 2022.

WWE superstar Rey Mysterio appears in the first-look trailer, along with peeks at Roman Reigns, Goldberg, Bayley, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, The Miz, Sheamus, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rhea Ripley, Finn Bálor, Ricochet and Kane.

The latest game in the long-running series, which was originally set to have landed this year, promises new controls, “incredible” graphics, and a redesigned engine behind the scenes. 2K claim that 85 per cent of the in-game roster has taken part in facial scanning for ultra-realistic and updated character models (so 15 per cent are party poopers), and “more than 3,400 new animations have been captured”.
