M-I-C, K-E-Y, M, O, U, S, E! We can’t help it. We see those lugs and we’re earworming it like we’re still stuck on Disneyland’s ‘It’s a Small World’ ride (We wanna get off!).

One of the more curious cultural collisions in gaming times, the Kingdom Hearts action RPGs – which take Unca Walt’s beloved creations and bangs them together with the Final Fantasy and The World Ends With You universes – has to be one of the most bizarre… and one of the most brilliant! Much like the two fabby Kingdom Hearts HD Remix collections on PS3, remastering is the game here. Uh, as well as the actual games. The star of the show (other than Mickey Mous… DONALD DUCK!) is a big screen HD version of Dream Drop Distance from the 3DS. It doesn’t hit the disc alone, however, as two new releases – the ninth and tenth in the series – keep it company. Kingdom Hearts x Back Cover is a cinematic that fills in bits of the story not seen in the games, while Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth By Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage (those title people must be paid by the syllable) is a new playable tale from the point of view of Aqua (no, not the Scandinavian popsters), which takes place after Birth By Sleep. Need we say this is a must-get for series fans? K-I-N, G-D-O, M, H, E, A, R… erm, TS.
