Nintendo Switch sales have reportedly passed 2.74 million units worldwide since launch.

This figure includes data up to and including March 31, meaning almost 3 million Switch consoles were sold in under a month.

Astoundingly, Switch sales of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild came in at 2.76 million units. If you’re doing the math, that’s more games than consoles; presumably people are buying collectors’ editions to keep and another one to play.

That’s crazy numbers for a new console – especially considering how few games were available at launch. We’ll see how many more sell with the release of today’s Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and soon Sonic Forces and Super Mario Odyssey.
