Sick of using headsets and want a proper, immersive sound experience on your computer? Perhaps you should opt for the new Razer Nommo Chromas.
A twin-speaker setup, the Razer Nommo Chroma features full range 2.0 audio through 3” drivers and utilises rear facing bass ports. You can also plug in your headset to the back of one of the speakers if you really want to. While they’re a bit bigger than you might expect if you’ve seen any pictures of them, the speakers are unobtrusive, and should fit nicely either side of your monitors for that proper surround-sound setup.
The Nommo connect either with your standard 3.5mm audio jack, or via USB if you want to make use of the Chroma functionality and its 16.8 million colour combinations (which we would definitely recommend). Razer’s new speakers give you a full positional audio experience, whether it’s while quietly stalking someone in Far Cry 5 or just checking out a new video from your favourite content creator. Its wide range of bass also means you’ll get the best out of every experience, with an emphasis on clarity in more intense, cinematic games.
The best part about Razer’s Nommo Chroma satellites (not speakers) is how easy they are to set up. You just need to connect the speakers to a power outlet, then to each other, and then to the computer. It’s really that easy, and there’s minimal fuss involved. One thing to remember; push the volume button to turn them on. It’s very easily overlooked, and can have you wondering why they aren’t working. Whether you’re using them for gaming or just in the office, the Nommos will make you the envy of all your friends.
