When Star Wars Battlefront hit a couple of years ago one thing was noticeably missing – and we’re not talking Jabba’s freaked-out puppet posse.
We are, of course, referring to a single-player campaign. EA’s peculiar decision to leave one out was apparently due to them believing that nobody played single-player campaigns anymore, that everybody just wants to live online.
They soon discovered that they were wronger than the wrongest of wrongy things.
So, needless to say EA have made a big song and dance about the single-player campaign that will feature in Star Wars Battlefront II, which is coming this November 17 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
It’s set to tell a brand-new story, and this time through the eyes of a bad guy. Well, a bad gal. Well, bad if you consider Emperor Palpatine and his cronies bad. Anyway, she’s Iden Versio, and she’s an Imperial soldier serving during the Galactic Civil War. She hasn’t swallowed the evil Kool-Aid without question though, so this should make for an interesting experience indeed.
Anyway, if you’d like to find out a bit more about the single-player campaign in Star Wars Battlefront II, and hear from some of the developers, all you have to do is watch below.
