Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online have made their debut on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, delivering the wild, colliding stories of Franklin, Michael and Trevor even bigger and better than ever before.

It brings top end PC level visuals to the new-gen console experience, with three new graphics modes – Fidelity, Performance RT, and Performance – with features that include native 4K resolution, a frame rate target of 60fps, HDR options and ray tracing, as well as improved texture qualities, and more.

Then there are the technical advancements of the latest console generation that come into play, such as faster loading times, and the sonic precision of Tempest 3D audio on the PS5 and Spatial Sound on the Xbox Series X|S. PS5 players using the DualSense wireless controller also get to feel haptic feedback from weather effects, rough road surfaces, explosions and more.

“GTA Online for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S also features exclusive new content…”

On top of seeing Los Santos and Blaine County in greater detail than ever before, players can now jump straight into the activities that appeal to them most from the Main Menu, whether that be GTA V’s Story Mode or GTA Online. You can also leap right into the latest content in GTA Online such as Heists, Stunt Races, Adversary Modes, or just hang out with friends in such social spaces as nightclubs, arcades, penthouse parties, car meetups, and more.

This streamlined access to GTA Online means that both new and returning players can create a new character through the Career Builder, which features four not exactly above board businesses to oversee as either an Executive, Gunrunner, Nightclub Owner, or Biker, plus a chunky GTA$4,000,000 bonus to use as they see fit, be it a select property, a hot vehicle, and/or the sort of firepower that you need to kickstart such an enterprise.

GTA Online for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S also features exclusive new content, including the return of Los Santos Tuners’ auto expert Hao, as he takes over the LS Car Meet Mod Shop to deliver a specialist custom service, Hao’s Special Works (HSW), where players can access new vehicles with higher top speeds and other exclusive mods and customisations, new race series, time trials, racing suits, and more.

If you’re a returning PS4 or Xbox One player, you can transfer both your GTA V Story Mode progress and current GTA Online characters and progression with a one-time migration. This even includes special rewards such as a free Karin S95 fully converted by Hao’s Special Works, plus an HSW racing suit and a set of paints made available to all vehicles.

It’s still all happening in Los Santos. If you’re rocking a PS5 or XBox Series X|S, then what are you waiting for?!
