Google Maps can be a very handy resource when you’re planning a route somewhere. But, as an enterprising Berliner shows us, it can be gamed.
Digital artist Simon Weckert decided to test out the service by gathering 99 smartphones, bunging them in a little red wagon and trundling down streets of his native Berlin.
You can see the results for yourself below.
So, next time you want to free up a route to get somewhere, all you need to do is get hold of 99 smartphones, a little red wagon and somebody to schlep it along the route to create a virtual traffic jam that other drivers will avoid. Simple!
