The newest smart lighting innovation from Nanoleaf is a range of backlit, modular LED light bars that are simply called Lines.
As you can see from the pic above and in the video below, they also look pretty smart, delivering a different, more subtle effect than many other LED light setups.
Lines connect at 60 degree angle increments to create all sorts of layouts, and are suitable for mounting on walls or even ceilings.
Each light line features dual colour zones, allowing two colours to show at once, while the diffused lighting technology apparently blends different hues together for seamless colour mixing
As we’ve come to expect from Nanoleaf, all sorts of cool dynamic scenes – 19 of them as presets, with thousands more available online or you can create your own – can be called up, bringing life to your lighting display. Seven of those are “rhtyhm scenes”, perfect for letting your Lines bop away visualisation-style to your favourite tunes.
If you’re a movie buff, you can sync Lines to what you’re viewing via a screen mirroring feature, which syncs up on-screen colours and animations with your lighting setup.
Like other Nanoleaf products, Lines are compatible with Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings and IFTTT integrations, and they also support – or will support – new Thread and Matter technologies.
Nanoleaf Lines are available now.
