Razer have unveiled their new Stream Controller, designed to be the nerve centre of any streamer’s content creation.
The new device features 12 customisable haptic switchblade keys, six tactile analog dials, and eight programmable buttons, with the aim to “deliver unlimited ways to create content and customise livestreams.”
What does this mean? Basically, everything that the streamer needs – well, save for talent – is now right at their fingertips, including endless shortcuts, easy multi-tasking, and instant access to any function. Razer are promising “near limitless” software compatibility, too.
“Creation is all about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. That’s exactly what Razer’s sole focus is with our streaming suite of tools we’re putting in creator’s hands,“ said Razer’s head of the mobile & console division, Richard Hashim. “Through our fully integrated cutting-edge hardware and software approach, Razer empowers creators to not be restricted by their tools, but instead only by the limits of their imagination.”
The device is a collaboration with Loupedeck, with the aim to combine their expertise in streaming and content creation “to deliver an all-in-one software experience for creators.”
Compact yet powerful, the Razer Stream Controller measures in at 151 x 101.5 x 30.2mm, weighs 210g and is conencted by a handy two-metre long USB-A to USB-C cable.
Look out for the Razer Stream Controller this coming spring.
