Nokia’s first 5G smartphone, the Nokia 8.3, is out and about now in Australia.

Coinciding with the announcement is the arrival of a flashy new advertising tie-in with the upcoming 25th Bond film, No Time to Die. The spot features Lashana Lynch in action as 00 agent Nomi from the film, along with her trusty Nokia.

As for the phone, as well as delivering 5G, the 8.3 also houses a powerful PureView quad-camera that promises us cinematic 4K video recording and editing capabilities. How good is it? The ad we mentioned, which you can watch below, was shot entirely on a Nokia 8.3.

Meanwhile, for the more security conscious, Nokia continue their strides in protecting their users by packing in readiness for the latest Android 11, two years of operating system upgrades and three years of monthly security updates.

Maybe it really is “the only gadget that we’ll ever need”?
